Jon Taylor

Jon joined the Board of Forester Life Limited in December 2021, taking the additional role of Chair of the Risk and Investment Committee in 2024.

Jon is also the Independent Chair of the Board of atomos Financial Planning Limited.

Before joining Foresters Jon was CEO of Ascentric, a funds platform serving the IFA market. Before that he held the role of CEO at Co-operative Life Insurance.

During his career Jon has been involved in many aspects of financial services including retail banking, life insurance, long-term savings, pensions, general insurance, and investment management. He has had a particular focus on IT and business-centric transformation, building upon his early IT career involving work within the financial services industry, as a consulting principal at IBM, and within academia where he taught Computer Science at the University of Manchester. Jon holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Queen Mary College, University of London.

Jon has also provided management consultancy services to financial services organisations and large professional services companies such as PwC and Accenture.
