Burçin Arkut 

Burçin joined Foresters in 2019 and is bringing over 20 years of life insurance experience across Europe and the UK. He was appointed as the UK Chief Actuary in 2021 and he is also leading the strategic initiatives on pricing and product development. Prior to Foresters, he was the Chief Actuary of Aviva’s Life & Pensions Joint Venture (now AgeSA) in Turkey, where he was seconded from Aviva Europe, London in 2011. He has also worked in Legal & General’s Actuarial Department in various roles supporting the UK business, both on the asset and liability side of the balance sheet. Burçin is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and has a BSc in Mathematics from Istanbul University.
